  • 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Kenton & Jane Erwin's home: 3002 S. 23rd Way, Ridgefield

Registration is closed

Sorry, no more seating is available for this session. Watch for notices for the next class.

Facilitated by Brian Tansy and your SWWA Education Committee, this seminar is designed for member winemakers to support quality wine making in our region.

The details:

  • Registration is free, but you must pre-register to attend so we have an accurate count for planning purposes.
  • A light meal and beverages are provided. BYOW, if you wish.
  • Feel free to bring a problematic white or rose wine for confidential analysis and discussion.
  • Capacity for this course is 16 persons.
  • Graciously hosted by Kenton and Jane Erwin, Ridgefield.

As a special bonus, Kenton will introduce and serve his white and red piquette wines, along with ways wineries might increase their production and sales without buying or growing any more fruit!  Often with a touch of spritz, piquette is a lower alcohol wine made from the second pressings of grape pomace. These wines have been enjoyed by French farmhands and vineyard workers for many years, and are quickly gained fans.
